Roblox Unbox ASMR Beginner's Guide
Learn the core gameplay mechanics of Unbox ASMR on Roblox, including how to earn cash, upgrade conveyors, hire workers, and utilize weather events.
Unbox ASMR is a tycoon-style game on Roblox where players purchase crates, unpack them to collect ASMR items, and use those items to build up their bases. The primary gameplay cycle involves buying containers from a moving conveyor line, placing them within your base to unbox them, and physically stepping on the resulting ASMRs to generate currency. Players can then reinvest this money to expand their base, upgrade their conveyor systems, and automate their cash generation.
How to Earn Cash
There are three primary methods to accumulate funds in Unbox ASMR:
- Stepping on ASMRs: Once you place your unboxed items in your base, you can walk or click on them to generate cash with each step. Items with higher rarities yield more money per step than lower-rarity alternatives.
- Selling Items: Players can exchange their ASMRs for immediate funds. By selecting the sell button located at the top of the interface, you teleport to a shop where you can sell your entire inventory or choose specific items to trade.
- Daily Rewards: Collecting these daily bonuses offers a reliable income stream, which is particularly helpful for players who are just starting out.
Managing Workers
To automate cash generation, players can employ workers to walk across the ASMR items automatically.
- The Workers Shop: Located to the left of the conveyor upgrade station in your base, this shop allows you to buy up to three workers using cash.
- Increasing Capacity: You can raise this limit by completing rebirths. Reaching the maximum of ten rebirths expands your worker capacity to over 30.
- Free Workers: Liking the game and joining its official Roblox community group awards two free workers.
The Rebirth System
Rebirths are initiated via a button on the left side of the screen. To rebirth, you must possess a specific amount of cash and a designated ASMR item in your inventory or base. Alternatively, players can spend Robux to bypass these requirements and skip rebirths.
Completing a rebirth resets your cash balance and removes standard ASMRs from both your base and inventory. However, Limited, Exclusive, and Rebirth ASMRs are preserved. Rebirthing permanently boosts the cash you earn from ASMRs and awards you one unique Rebirth ASMR per cycle (up to 10 total). These special items cannot be sold.
Conveyor Upgrades and Crate Rarities
Players can step on the conveyor upgrade button in their base to spend cash. Doing so alters the conveyor's look and increases luck. There are 13 crate rarities: Common (the lowest), Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, Divine, Honey, Exotic, Godly, Rebirth ASMR, Exclusive, and Limited (the highest).
Weather Events
The game features three weather events as of the Honey Update:
- Cash Rush: Temporarily boosts the amount of money you earn.
- Luck: Doubles your luck when summoning and opening crates. This is currently the only free-to-play method to increase luck.
- Honey Weather Event: Spawns randomly and lasts for five minutes. During this event, a large beehive appears in the sky and bees fly across the map. Honey crates spawn at a much higher rate. These crates can contain six distinct honey-themed items, including a spoon, a keyboard, and a honeycomb.
Premium and Limited Items
- VIP Gamepass: Costs 119 Robux. Purchasing it via the VIP button on the left side of the screen grants a permanent 50% boost to both cash and luck, alongside the Exclusive Golden Keyboard ASMR.
- Permanent Luck: A separate 2x luck boost can be bought from the shop for 30 Robux.
- Limited ASMR: The highest-rarity items come from the Limited Prismwave Keyboard Crate, which was sold in the center of the map for Robux. This crate is currently out of stock, and it is unknown if the developers plan to restock it.
Admin Abuse Events
The developers host scheduled events known as "Admin Abuse." The exact dates and times for these events are displayed in-game. During these periods, developers trigger weather events, boost luck, and provide players with opportunities to acquire high-rarity crates and ASMRs.
