Unbox ASMR is a Roblox tycoon game where players purchase crates from a conveyor belt, open them in their base to collect ASMR items, and walk on those items to generate currency. The cash earned can be reinvested to expand the base, hire workers, and upgrade the conveyor system. This guide covers the essential mechanics to help beginners start playing and progressing efficiently.

How to Earn Cash

In Unbox ASMR, players can generate money through three primary activities:

  • Stepping on ASMRs: Once crates are opened, players place the resulting ASMR items in their base. Walking or clicking on these items generates cash with each action. Higher-rarity items yield more funds per step.
  • Selling Items: Players can sell their ASMR items for immediate cash. By clicking the designated button at the top of the screen, players teleport to a shop where they can choose to sell their entire inventory or specific items.
  • Daily Rewards: Claiming these rewards provides a steady cash injection, which is highly beneficial for new players.

Automating Income with Workers

To earn money passively, players can hire workers to walk over the placed ASMR items.

  • Purchasing Workers: The Workers Shop is situated to the left of the conveyor upgrade button. Initially, players can use their cash to buy up to three workers.
  • Increasing Worker Capacity: The maximum worker limit can be expanded by performing rebirths.
  • Free Workers: Players can acquire two additional workers for free by liking the game and joining the official Roblox community group.

Rebirthing Mechanics

Rebirthing resets certain aspects of progress in exchange for permanent upgrades.

  • Requirements: Players must click the rebirth button on the left side of the screen. Rebirthing requires a specific amount of cash and a designated ASMR item in the player's base or inventory.
  • Skipping: Players have the option to bypass these requirements using Robux.
  • Resets and Retained Items: Performing a rebirth resets the player's cash balance and removes standard ASMR items from both the base and inventory. However, Limited, Exclusive, and Rebirth ASMRs are safe from this wipe.
  • Rebirth Limits and Rewards: The game allows a maximum of 10 rebirths. Completing all of them increases worker capacity to over 30, permanently boosts the cash earning rate, and awards 10 unique Rebirth ASMRs (one per rebirth). These special items cannot be sold.

Upgrading Conveyors and Crate Rarities

Upgrading the conveyor belt alters its appearance and increases the luck rate for obtaining higher-quality crates. Players can upgrade the conveyor by walking onto the corresponding button and paying cash.

There are 13 crate rarities available in the game:

  1. Common (lowest rarity)
  2. Uncommon
  3. Rare
  4. Epic
  5. Legendary
  6. Mythic
  7. Divine
  8. Honey
  9. Exotic
  10. Godly
  11. Rebirth ASMR
  12. Exclusive
  13. Limited (highest rarity)

Weather Events and Luck Boosts

Weather events periodically alter gameplay conditions. There are three known weather events:

  • Cash Rush: Increases the amount of cash earned.
  • Luck: Provides a temporary 2x boost to crate and ASMR luck. Opening crates during this event is the only free-to-play method currently available to increase luck.
  • Honey Weather Event: This event occurs randomly and lasts for five minutes. During the event, a large beehive appears in the sky and bees fly across the map. This event significantly increases the chance of Honey Crates spawning on the conveyor. Honey Crates can contain six distinct honey-themed items, including a Keyboard, a Spoon, and a Honey Comb.

Other methods to boost luck include purchasing a permanent 2x Luck upgrade from the shop for 30 Robux, or buying the VIP Gamepass for 119 Robux. The VIP Gamepass grants a 50% boost to both luck and cash, alongside the Exclusive Golden Keyboard ASMR.

Special Events and Rarities

  • Admin Abuse Events: The developers host scheduled events where they manually trigger weather events, boost luck, and provide opportunities to obtain high-rarity crates and ASMRs. The schedule for these events is visible in-game.
  • Limited ASMR: The highest-rarity item is the Limited Prismwave Keyboard, which is obtained via a special crate in the center of the map using Robux. Currently, this crate is sold out, and it is unverified whether the developers will make it available again. Players can monitor the in-game shop to check for restocks.
