Unbox ASMR Crates Guide: Rarities, Weather, and Upgrades

In the Roblox tycoon game Unbox ASMR, players progress by purchasing crates from a moving conveyor belt, placing them within their base, and opening them to retrieve ASMR items. Stepping or clicking on these items generates cash, which players can spend to hire automated workers, expand their base, and upgrade their conveyor belt to obtain higher-value items.
Understanding how to acquire, upgrade, and open these crates is essential for optimizing your earnings.
Crate Rarities and Conveyor Upgrades
To obtain higher-rarity crates, you must upgrade your conveyor belt. This is done by walking onto the designated upgrade button in your base, which costs cash. Upgrading changes the conveyor's appearance and increases your luck.
There are 13 distinct crate rarities in the game. Ranked from lowest to highest rarity, they are:
- Common
- Uncommon
- Rare
- Epic
- Legendary
- Mythic
- Divine
- Honey
- Exotic
- Godly
- Rebirth ASMR
- Exclusive
- Limited
How to Get Honey and Limited Crates
Certain crates require specific conditions or currencies to acquire:
- Honey Crates: These crates have a low natural spawn rate on the conveyor belt. However, their spawn rate increases significantly during the Honey Weather Event. This random event lasts for five minutes, during which a giant beehive appears in the sky and bees fly across the map. Honey Crates can drop six different honey-themed items, including a spoon, a keyboard, and a honeycomb.
- Limited Crates: The Limited ASMR item is obtained exclusively from the Limited Prismwave Keyboard Crate. Rather than spawning on the conveyor, this crate must be purchased with Robux at the center of the map. According to current records, this crate is sold out, and it is unverified whether the developers plan to restock it in the future.
Boosting Luck for Better Crates
To increase your chances of pulling rare ASMR items from your crates, you need to boost your luck. There are several ways to do this:
- Luck Weather Event: This random event doubles your luck while it is active, making it the only free-to-play method currently available to boost your odds.
- Shop Purchases: You can purchase a permanent 2x Luck boost from the in-game shop for 30 Robux.
- VIP Gamepass: Buying the VIP Gamepass for 119 Robux provides a permanent 50% luck boost, a 50% cash boost, and the Exclusive Golden Keyboard ASMR.
- Admin Abuse Events: The developers periodically host scheduled "Admin Abuse" events. During these times, the developers manually trigger weather events, increase luck, and give players opportunities to acquire high-rarity crates and ASMRs.
Weather Events Overview
As of the Honey Update, there are three active weather events in the game:
- Cash Rush: Increases the rate of cash earned from walking on ASMRs.
- Luck: Increases the luck rates for both crates and ASMRs.
- Honey Weather Event: Temporarily boosts the spawn rate of Honey Crates on the conveyor.
Rebirths and Inventory Resets
Performing rebirths is necessary to automate your cash flow. Players can initially hire up to three workers using cash at the Workers Shop, and can obtain two additional free workers by liking the game and joining the official Roblox community.
To expand this cap up to a maximum of 30+ workers, players must complete Rebirths. There are 10 total Rebirths available. Each Rebirth requires a specific amount of cash and a designated ASMR item.
When you rebirth, you lose all cash and standard ASMRs in your base and inventory. However, the following items are immune to this data reset and will remain safe:
- Limited ASMRs
- Exclusive ASMRs (such as the Golden Keyboard)
- Rebirth ASMRs (players receive one permanent Rebirth ASMR per completed rebirth)
Rebirths also permanently increase your cash earning rate. Alternatively, players have the option to skip rebirths by spending Robux.
