Unbox ASMR is a tycoon-style game on the Roblox platform where players purchase crates from a moving conveyor belt, place them within their base, and open them to collect ASMR items. By walking or clicking on these placed ASMR items, players generate in-game cash. This accumulated currency can then be spent to expand the base, hire automated workers, and upgrade the conveyor system to secure rarer items.

Methods for Earning Cash
Players can build their cash reserves through three primary activities:
- Interacting with ASMRs: Stepping or clicking on unboxed ASMR items placed in the base generates cash. The payout scale is determined by rarity; more valuable ASMR items yield higher cash returns per step.
- Selling Inventory: Players can instantly teleport to the seller shop by clicking the "Sell ASMR" button at the top of the screen. From there, they can choose to sell their entire inventory or select specific items for quick cash.
- Daily Rewards: Claiming the daily login rewards provides a reliable cash injection, which is highly beneficial for players who are just starting out.
Managing Workers and Rebirths
Workers automate the cash-generation process by walking over placed ASMR items.
- Acquiring Workers: The Workers Shop is located to the left of the conveyor upgrade button. Initially, players can purchase up to three workers using cash. Players can also obtain two additional free workers by liking the game and joining the official Unbox ASMR Roblox Community.
- Expanding Capacity: To hire more than three workers, players must perform Rebirths. Completing all 10 available Rebirths expands the maximum worker capacity to over 30.
- Rebirth Mechanics: Initiating a Rebirth requires clicking the button on the left side of the screen. Players must meet specific cash and ASMR inventory requirements to proceed. Alternatively, players may spend Robux to bypass these requirements and skip rebirth levels.
- The Rebirth Reset: Resetting will wipe all cash and standard ASMR items from both the base and player inventory. However, Rebirth ASMRs, Exclusive ASMRs, and Limited ASMRs are preserved. Rebirthing also permanently increases the player's cash earning rate.
Crate Rarities and Conveyor Upgrades
Players can upgrade their conveyor belt using cash. Doing so alters the conveyor's physical appearance and increases the player's luck.
There are 13 distinct crate rarities in the game. Ordered from lowest to highest rarity, they are:

Weather Events
Weather events introduce temporary gameplay shifts. As of the Honey Update, there are three active weather conditions:
- Cash Rush: Increases the rate of cash earned from stepping on ASMRs.
- Luck: Doubles the luck rate for crates and ASMRs.
- Honey Weather Event: Spawns randomly and lasts for five minutes. During this event, a large beehive appears in the sky and bees fly across the map. It increases the spawn rate of Honey Crates on the conveyor belt. These crates contain six possible Honey items, including a Spoon, a Keyboard, and a Honey Comb.
Special Items and Gamepasses
- VIP Gamepass: Available for 119 Robux. It grants a permanent 50% boost to luck, a 50% boost to cash earnings, and the Exclusive Golden Keyboard ASMR.
- Luck Upgrades: Players can purchase a permanent 2x Luck boost from the shop for 30 Robux. Aside from this paid upgrade, the Luck Weather Event is the only free-to-play method for boosting luck.
- Limited ASMRs: The Limited Prismwave Keyboard Crate was previously purchasable with Robux at the center of the map. It is currently sold out. Whether it will be restocked in the future remains unverified; players must check the center of the map in-game to see if availability changes.
- Admin Abuse Events: Developers host scheduled events where they manually trigger weather events, boost luck, and give players opportunities to acquire rare crates and ASMRs. The exact schedule for these events is displayed in-game.
